History

Established in 19__, in Ladysmith, B.C. on Vancouver Island by evangelist/revivalist Todd Bentley of Fresh Fire Ministries, Sound of Fire Productions first became a way and a means to economically bring his first book, Journey into the Miraculous, and his popular Soaking CD into production and print for global distribution. It was soon apparent that the anointing upon Todd’s life would catapult him into global healing and revival ministry with Fresh Fire, and that the ministry itself best focus its efforts and direct its financial resources toward igniting spiritual fires across the continent and in the nations through missions, crusades, schools, and conferences. Sound of Fire and its bookstore thus became a method by which many of Todd’s resources would be produced, administrated, managed, and distributed, while at the same time it was a means in which Todd could also build up financial security for his family’s future while in ministry. He appointed his parents, Darcia and Dave Bentley as overseers, and eventually Sound of Fire (SOF) became a distributing arm for the resources of other ministry leaders whom God has raised up, many through Fresh Fire Ministries. It has since grown!

Todd’s ministry, Fresh Fire Ministries (FFM) is an international ministry called to global harvest. He and his team take God’s saving, healing, and delivering power to the nations. Todd travels throughout North America sparking revival fires, equipping the Body of Christ in power evangelism and healing ministry, conducting international healing crusades, and mercy outreach and missions..

Dave Bentley

For the past five years, David has traveled and ministered alongside of his son, Todd, to bring the healing, delivering, transformational power of God to the nations. Husband to Darcia, Dave also assists in the management of Sound of Fire when he’s not traveling with Todd or busy fulfilling his ministry vision at Freedom Fire Ministries, a calling and urgency for his generation to rise up and declare the glory of God’s power to the next generation.

Wanda teamed up with Darcia to assist her with everything administrative.


Shae Cooke

SOF writer/editor/author Shae Cooke assists Todd and other ministry leaders/authors in the writing, editing, and publishing processes of print/publishing materials. She joined Fresh Fire Ministries’ writing department as a freelancer in 2005/6 to help produce ministry resources and in 2007 came aboard with us from her Vancouver based office to assist us as needed with the ongoing writing needs of Todd and our clients. With a heart for revival and evangelism, Shae ministers to the Body of Christ through working with key international ministry and music leaders, evangelists, revivalists, and Christian marketplace leaders to advance and contend for mighty global impact for harvest through the release of rivers of wisdom and revelation for His kingdom come. We offer special pricing for this service for those products distributed through Sound of Fire.
